Taking care of yourself is a necessity not a luxury. Only if you are yourself 𝒽ℯ𝒶𝓁𝓉𝒽𝓎, can you take care of your loved ones. Being a mom to two girls, a daughter myself, a sister, a niece and circled by many amazing women; I believe that women’s health is tremendously important. Coming from a family history of 𝒸𝒶𝓃𝒸ℯ𝓇, my dad is a colon cancer survivor, my grandpa with lung cancer, and my aunties with breast and cervical; I truly believe that we all should have full access to health care and screening measures and it shouldn’t just be available to those who can afford it. To begin with, cervical cancer was once the most common cause of cancer-related death for women but with the increased use of the Pap test, the death rate dropped significantly to number fifteen. It’s a friendly reminder that women ages 21+ should be getting Pap tests. Spread this awareness to help save lives. And don’t forget the Affordable Care Act covers cancer screenings for almost everyone. Do not wait up, schedule your Pap🩺👩‍⚕️
