“Let’s talk about the Pap smear for a minute, it’s importance, and why you should follow the recommended testing protocols.
Pap tests have been leading the fight against cervical cancer for decades. Before introduction of the screening, cervical cancer was the #1 cancer killer of women. Now, it’s #14. Drastic huh? New proposed changes to the guidelines could eliminate the Pap and leave women vulnerable to incomplete testing. Not getting these tests done regularly can be detrimental for some women. Catching things early is SO important and getting Pap smears regularly has helped me personally do so.”
