Women should always have a voice in health guidelines that impact our bodies because we are the ones who own them. If you don’t have a cervix, why have an opinion on them? Furthermore, Black and Brown women are more likely to experience cancer related issues than their white counterparts, which means we really need to be on top of our healthcare! This issue can be combated by having accessible testing for everyone and affordable follow up care. One test that we need to stay on top of is the Pap test.

Brandy is advocating for people with a cervix to own their bodies and their voices, and she’s using her voice to advocate for Black and Brown women’s access to the life saving Pap test!
