“I’m so inspired by all of the women who have paved the way and advocated for me. It’s only right that I do my part and advocate for others as well…The Pap test is a preventative screening used to detect precancerous or cancerous cervical cancer cells. Cervical cancer can be treated if detected early enough through screenings such as the Pap…Trans and non-binary rights are human rights and Pap tests should be readily available to ALL individuals with a cervix.”
A Legacy of Pap Access for All
Charlene is grateful for all of the women who came before her and made it possible for her to have access to healthcare, including the Pap test, and she is embracing her own role in bearing the torch and ensuring that all people now and in the future have the same access.
