Shadell’s a self-described writer and encourager, and she has some beautiful and inspiring words on the nature of women and their right to proper healthcare, especially the invaluable Pap test.
I’m an advocate of early screenings that are able to detect cancer early. Before the Pap test existed, cervical cancer was the #1 killer among women. Now it’s #14. New proposed changes to the guidelines could eliminate the Pap and leave women vulnerable to incomplete testing. [A]s women we all deserve access to health screenings that could potentially save our lives. We women are valuable, precious carriers of life, and we need access to the Pap test that is designed to protect the way we are divinely designed.
