“As someone who aspires to be a part of UN Women, I advocate for women’s rights everywhere. The suffragette movement gave women a voice and today we need to be heard, especially on regulations that impact our bodies. I believe that women should continue to have access to health screenings, such as Pap tests. These tests can save lives: many cancers are asymptomatic at first. Early detection increases likelihood of survival. Due to Pap screenings, cervical cancer is no longer the most fatal form of cancer found in women.”
