Elle’s eyes were opened to the importance of access to women’s health when her aunt experienced a close brush with cervical cancer. Her mighty aunt has recovered, and Elle is now lifting her voice to make sure that all women continue to have access to vital services like the Pap test.

“Women’s health is an issue near & dear to my heart. Several years ago, my aunt was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. She—a warrior!— has since recovered, but my gratitude & advocacy for accessible women’s health resources has grown ever since. Now, proposed policy changes could eliminate Pap screenings, leaving thousands of women vulnerable. This CANNOT happen. Pap screenings are life-saving: cervical cancer used to be the #1 cancer killer of women. Now, it has fallen to #14. It’s clear that ALL women deserve access to this test that has been saving our lives for years. Everyone deserves the most accessible health services possible.”
