“I will never forget being in a comfortable, welcoming environment to talk about sexual health when I had my first routine Pap screening with my primary care doctor. She made me feel safe and cared for through her support of my sexual health. Being a low-income student, I am so grateful to have had access to sexual healthcare providers that care for my well being. It is so incredibly important that all people with cervixes, from all socioeconomic identities, have access to the sexual healthcare they need. Cervical cancer is often asymptomatic until it reaches the later stages, so it is critical that routine Pap testing should be a part of every woman’s routine wellness screening.”

First Pap, Best Pap
Dianna from Minnesota grew up without much sexual health education, so she has a lot of gratitude for the doctor who administered her first Pap test, and in the process helped her feel safe and well-informed. Diana’s experience has helped shape her own dedication to ensuring all people regardless of their background continue to have access to the Pap!
