My childhood friend’s mom passed away from cervical cancer. She was a strong and beautiful woman inside and out. I still can’t believe she was taken so young. Maybe if she had access to getting a Pap smear, she would still be here today. Every woman should have access to getting a Pap smear!

Maybe if she had access to getting a papsmear, she would still be here today. Every woman should have access to getting a papsmear! . According to The American Cancer Society’s estimates for cervical cancer in the United States for 2020 are: About 13,800 new cases of invasive cervical cancer will be diagnosed. About 4,290 women will die from cervical cancer. . Did you know that Cervical cancer was one of the most common causes of cancer death for American women? The American cancer society also states that the cervical cancer death rate dropped significantly with the increased use of the Pap test. (This screening procedure can find changes in the cervix before cancer develops. It can also find cervical cancer early − when it’s small and easier to cure!) . I’m so incredibly grateful for a papsmear! It can save your life and the life of your loved ones. . #protectthepap #womenshealth #fortheloveofwomen #selfcare #wellnesswarrior #gfw101620L #OCTLS16 #ctcls101620 #dadl01620LS #ME101620L #womenwellness #selflove #raiseyourvoice #speakupladies #takecareofyourself
