I want [my daughter] to always know she can come to me, with any questions she has, and that she knows how important it is as a girl to know what’s going on with her body. Did you know that many girls don’t realize that they could have cervical cancer until it’s in the later stages? Many women are asymptomatic, which is why the disease is discovered too late. But there is a way we can work to detect cervical cancer before it’s too late- the Pap test. That’s why we need to #protectthepap. I want Elsy to know she should always have a right to be checked out when it comes to saving lives.
Kelly wants her daughter to know that she can always turn to Kelly with questions about life, and one topic she is more-than-prepared to address is the importance of the life-saving Pap test.
