Story time: My half sister immigrated to America from Vietnam and got her first ever Pap test a couple years ago. They found CIN 3 or high grade dysplasia. She needed to get a hysterectomy before the disease spread anymore! We were so thankful that in America the Pap is accessible to nearly everyone! The Affordable Care Act covers cancer screenings for most people, including Pap testing for everyone with a cervix, making this life-saving check up widely accessible no matter what your income level happens to be.
