Zaakira lives in Philadelphia, where thousands across history have raised their voices in support of personal freedoms. Now, she’s adding her voice to that historical chorus in calling for continued access to the Pap test.
“As women, we should have a voice in health guidelines that impact our bodies because we need to stay healthy. No one should have the power to silence our voices. The Pap test has been a life saving preventative measure for women. Cervical cancer used to be the #1 cancer-related killer of women, but thanks to the Pap test it’s now #14! Eliminating the Pap test would leave so many women unprotected. Let’s stand together as women to make sure the Pap test continues to fight against cervical cancer for women.”
