“As a mommy of two, women’s health is so important to me. When I was pregnant with my first baby, Bella, I didn’t have health insurance and it was such an uphill battle to get basic health care until I was fully covered because it was so expensive. Health care for women is so important during this sensitive time. It is so essential to get regular checkups, blood work and of course your Pap tests. I’m so excited to partner with @protect_the_pap and tell you about the importance of Pap tests. A Pap test is a screening test that detects cervical cancer in women. This can really help to detect cervical cancer early and give you a better chance at surviving! All women have a right to this basic women’s health exam even if you don’t have health insurance. No matter your income level, you still have a right to get a Pap test under the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA) for free and I feel this is so important to share with you because Pap tests are so essential and can literally save your life.”
