Now, more than ever, it is important for women to be vocal about their right to reproductive healthcare. I’m thankful to have resources available to me if I need them, but I know this isn’t a shared right for all women, especially those with less stable access to healthcare. Additionally, the stigma around talking about reproductive health services only worsens the disconnect between women and healthcare that could potentially save their lives.

Right now, changes to screening guidelines are threatening the success of tests like the Pap smear, leaving people vulnerable to incomplete testing. before the Pap smear was introduced, cervical cancer was the #1 cancer killer in women—now it’s #14. We can’t regress on this issue! Early and complete testing keeps people safe.
